About
Roxanne Logan, LCSW
Therapist & Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I became a therapist because I have spent most of my professional life sitting with people in some of the most complicated moments of their lives, and I've learned that what people need most is not advice or answers, but a space to be honest without consequence.
My path to therapy was not linear. I came to this work through years as a family law attorney, a mediator, and a social worker supporting families in the child welfare and court systems. That background taught me things you can't learn in a classroom: how trauma moves through families across generations, how legal and emotional stress compound each other, and how people often need both clarity and compassion at the same time.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and over two decades of experience working with families, individuals, and systems. My work centers Black professionals, adults navigating family and relational trauma, and people who are ready to understand, not just manage, what they've been living with.
Therapy with me is direct. I won't tell you what you want to hear, but I will be honest with you in a way that feels safe. I work at your pace, I take your history seriously, and I don't pretend that healing is simple. What I can offer is a consistent, grounded presence, and the kind of honesty that actually helps.
